Lance
S. Mayster
President
Prior to joining Dwinn-Shaffer & Company in 1990, Mr. Mayster spent 15 years, first with Merrill-Lynch and then as a partner in Singer & Company, specializing in real estate tax advantage investments. Lance is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in finance.
Andrew
Wineburgh
Executive Vice President
Mr. Wineburgh joined Dwinn-Shaffer in 1995. Prior to that time, he was a commodities broker on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, with a concentration in trading interest-sensitive financial instruments such as Treasury bills as well as foreign currencies. He is active in the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Chicago Real Estate Council, and the Real Estate Investment Association. Andy holds a degree in education from the University of Michigan, and is also a graduate of the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago (our "resident chef").

George R. Garrod
Senior Vice President, Manager Corporate Finance
Dwinn-Shaffer's Corporate Finance division, headed by Mr. Garrod, offers programs running the gamut from accounts receivable/inventory financing, factoring, leasing/equipment financing, foreign and healthcare receivables, terms loans, to leveraged buy outs, and more. George's background includes 35 years of broad experience in asset based financing, term lending, leasing, and equipment finance. Mr. Garrod holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from North Central College and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
William
J. Etherton
Senior Vice President
Mr. Etherton has more than 30 years experience in real estate
finance. Bill received his bachelor's degree from Emory University
and a master's in business administration from the University
of Illinois. He is a licensed real estate broker.
Barry
L. Axelrod, CMB
Senior Vice President
Mr. Axelrod adds 30 years of mortgage banking experience
to our staff. Barry is a licensed real estate broker, past
President of the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association, and
a member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers.
He has been a frequent guest lecturer to organizations and
corporations in the financial field, as well as at several
university business schools.
Vickie Winters
Vice President
Ms.
Winters' has an extensive real estate finance and property
management background. She has also served as an independent
consultant in the areas of health care and retirement living.
Additionally, Vickie spent several years working with the
Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs. Ms.
Winters earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and
a Master of Arts in Economics from Western Illinois University.
Vickie is active as a coach for tennis and softball teams
at a local North Shore high school.
Marc A. Fiedler
Analyst/Loan Officer
Mr. Fiedler is a licensed Illinois commercial real estate appraiser and also holds an NASD Series 7 license. He is a graduate of the Boston University School of Management with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in finance. Marc will be pursuing an MBA degree at DePaul University. He is a member of Young Real Estate Professionals of Chicago and JUF.

Joel
Levin, CMB, AMP
Consultant
With over 25 years experience in commercial real estate,
Mr. Levin is well-versed in virtually all phases of real estate
finance, management, and development. Joel holds a degree
in finance from the University of Arizona, and has earned
the CMB and AMP designations.
